Grant graduated at the University of Natal with B Comm and LLB degrees.

Grant was admitted as an attorney on 4 March 1991 and joined the firm in 1993, handling MVA claims, Civil and Criminal litigation.  He then took over the Conveyancing Department after Chris Auret retired in 2007. Grant is a qualified Conveyancer.
